Terms of Service

Aegis Powered by Capstone™ · a product of Capstone Limited

These terms govern access to and use of Aegis Powered by Capstone™ (the “Service”), provided by Capstone Limited. By accessing the Service you agree to these terms; if you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Licence

Capstone grants authorised users a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for internal financial-crime compliance purposes, whether hosted by Capstone (SaaS) or under a separate self-hosted licence agreement.

Acceptable use

• Use the Service only for lawful compliance and investigative purposes.
• Do not attempt to bypass security, access controls, or rate limits.
• Maintain the confidentiality of your credentials and account.

Decision-support only

The Service is decision-support software. It does not make automatic decisions. Screening dispositions of MATCH or REVIEW must be adjudicated by a qualified reviewer under the customer’s BSA/AML and sanctions policies. Match thresholds are governed, versioned parameters.

Data & third parties

Customers are responsible for the lawfulness of data they submit. Screening may rely on third-party data providers (for example SumSub); their data is provided “as is” and subject to their terms.

Warranties & liability

The Service is provided on a commercially reasonable basis without implied warranties to the extent permitted by law. Capstone’s liability is limited as set out in the applicable order or licence agreement.

Trademarks

“Aegis”, “Powered by Capstone”, and the Capstone logo are trademarks of Capstone Limited.
